Aion Tribute Case Study

Aion Tribute is a company that specializes in making memorial medallions to hold down the memory of a deceased loved one. Their designs are unique. Every medallion is laser carved with a portrait of the departed one. There is an option to have small ashes, lock of hair or any small personal items sealed within the medallion. Aion Tribute approached Qtec Solution Limited to develop a website which gives a simple yet elegant look and a design look that helps the feelings of website customers. The Qtec team worked on this website with sincere dedication and maintained the planned schedule. This website was developed with Django/Python technology in the backend and Nuxt.js technology in the frontend with REST API connected in between.

Client Requirements

The client requested a simple e-commerce platform (Backend, frontend, website) with UI/UX design. They wanted an easy going website where customers can place orders without any login or sign up hassle. They also wanted Stripe payment gateway as their payment gateway method. The platform must be developed in a structure where customers can customize their products with pictures, texts, names, dates, etc. They wished to have a coupon system. One of the significant requirements was to implement Canada Post API to make the billing and delivery system easier. The Qtec team developed this website according to clients requirements. We provided pixel perfect design for this website.

Key features

Product Customization

The team developed the website in a structure where customers can customize their products according to their choices. They can add pictures, texts, Name, Dates etc. They can also choose the font of the text. Pictures can be colored or black and white.

Payment Gateway Method

We have integrated Stripe as their payment gateway method. Stripe will provide more options for payment customization.

Canada Post API

Qtec team implemented the Canada Post API to this website. As a result the billing and delivery system got easier. Customers need to fill the house number and street name box and city, state and zip code boxes are automatically detected and filled.

Coupon Code

A coupon system is integrated in this website. Coupon code is generated from the backend by an admin. When a customer applies the coupon code it deducts the shipping cost.

Automatic Tax Calculation

The website is developed with an automatic tax calculation system. Customers need to enter the shipping address and the tax will be calculated and added automatically with the total price.

How we build it?

Aion tribute is an e-commerce platform. The main goal of developing this website was to build MVP(Minimum Viable Product).The team implemented MVP by developing add to cart, making payment and placing an order options. Stripe was integrated as their payment gateway method. The team also developed a coupon system, automatic tax calculation and Canada Post API to make the website user friendly. This website was developed by using the Agile software development methodology. Our scrum master conducted daily scrum meetings to assign sprint wise tasks to the designated team. We provided pixel perfect design for this website.
